- Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of clerks and coordinators.
- Lead the team in coordinating all inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
- Plan and delegate daily work assignments and deadlines.
- Train employees and provide continuous feedback to ensure employees are successful and productive.
- Lead by coaching and counseling to foster professional growth and development of employees.
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipping schedule with customer and warehouse operations.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Leads continuous improvement activities supporting warehouse operations.
- Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to continuously improve efficiency.
- Effectively communicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, recommend, and implement process and procedure improvements.
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Must have Shipping & Receiving experience.
- Must have warehouse experience.
- At least 2 years supervisory experience required.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to monitor and maintain records and inventory.
