    Volunteers of America Ohio and Indiana is looking for Full-Time Recovery Support Technicians for our Indianapolis Fresh Start Women's Program.

    The Fresh Start Recovery program is a family-focused residential additions treatment program for mothers and their children.

    To ensure we preserve the crucial mother-child relationship in a healthy environment, recovering mothers have their children live with them during treatment.

    This entry-level role will provide recovery support to women recovering from opioid and other drug abuse addictions.

    As a Recovery Support Technician (full-time, part-time, entry-level), you are part of a team of dedicated people offering our clients crisis intervention and a comprehensive continuum of care that includes group and individual therapy, case management, real-time parenting coaching, and life skills development.

    As a Recovery Support Technician, your work will touch the mind, body, heart – and ultimately the spirit – of those we serve while integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.

    This is an Entry level Behavioral Health position focusing on recovery and family reunification.

    As a Recovery Support Technician (full-time, 2nd and 3rd shifts, entry-level), you are part of a team of dedicated people offering our clients crisis intervention and a comprehensive continuum of care that includes group and individual therapy, case management, real-time parenting coaching, and life skills development.

    As a Recovery Support Technician, your work will touch the mind, body, heart – and ultimately the spirit – of those we serve while integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.


    Perform 1:1 crisis intervention to the client and submit supporting documentation.
    Facilitate individual and group skills training for clients.
    Document and maintain DCS and legally mandated reporting standards of child abuse and neglect.
    Maintain DCS and legally mandated reporting criteria for child abuse and neglect.
    Monitor for and control contraband through general surveillance and room searches.
    Conduct periodic tours of the facility and its grounds to maintain client safety and security
    Applicants must pass a state, county, and Department of Child Services background check.

    Available shifts:
    We are hiring for 2nd and 3rd Shifts - Full-Time
    Shift Differential for all hours worked after 5pm
