    Description

    We are looking for a Staffing Coordinator to fill a role at a small locally based staffing firm. This role will handle a variety of tasks such as fielding client staffing services requests, placement of employees with clients, and employee timekeeping & tracking among other duties. The Staffing Coordinator will ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws regarding employment. The Staffing Coordinator must be an excellent communicator (in both English and Spanish), able to foster relationships with both employees and external clients. They should have experience in hiring, onboarding and other human resources procedures. The goal is to ensure that our clients staffing requirements are always met and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment while being held accountable for their time and work product.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Oversee all client staffing needs - direct point of contact for client staffing requests.
    • Develop work schedules by matching employees to client staffing requests
    • Assume responsibility for timekeeping validation and time off requests
    • Work collaboratively to identify hiring needs so vacancies are filled in a timely manner
    • Report scheduling-related issues and open staffing requests to management
    • Ensure employees carry out their various duties in compliance with both internal and external policies, guidelines and regulations
    Secondary Responsibilities
    • Support candidate screening and hiring processes
    • Assist in preparation and execution of orientation and training plans
    Requirements and skills
    • Proven recent experience as staffing coordinator or similar position
    • Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
    • English and Spanish fluency required
    • Must be able to work as part of a team, must be an excellent team player
    • Ability to work with little supervision
    • Extremely reliable
    • Efficient time management is a must
