    Description

    Position Purpose: The Human Resource Manager will plan, manage, develop, and coordinate the policies, and activities of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.

    Required Education/Skills/Abilities

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
    • Advanced Degree in Human Resource Management and/or HR Certification highly preferred (HRCI or SHRM).
    • At least three years of human resource management experience required.
    • Thorough knowledge of all HR functions including employment-related laws and regulations, employee benefits administration and talent management.
    • Ability to effectively work independently and within a team in a 100% remote environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
    • Some travel will be required.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Manage and administer human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
    • Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
    • Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
    • In coordination with the Chief Officer and Finance Department, ensure that employee accounts, payroll and benefit selections are accurate and updated as appropriate.
    • Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends and make recommendations to senior leadership of proposed changes.
    • Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Develop and manage employee appreciation and recognition programs.
    • Lead and manage Employee onboarding and exiting initiatives.
    • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate recommended changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior leadership.
    • Work effectively with employee benefit vendors (insurance, retirement, etc.)
    • In collaboration with the Chief Officer, develops and implements departmental budget.
    • In collaboration with the Chief Officer, manage the annual employee benefits renewal process.
    • In collaboration with the Chief Officer, develop and manage the annual HR budget.
    • Oversee vendor relationship for Endocrinologist Career Site
    • In collaboration with Chief Officer, manage employee training and professional development opportunities.
    • Manage Employee Surveys (Culture Surveys, Pulse Surveys, Benefit Surveys, etc.)
    • Serve as subject matter expert for assigned AACE tactic core teams and activity teams.
    • Serves as staff liaison for member committees: Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee
    • Oversee administrative duties such as employee access to HR information, name tags, business cards, etc.
    • Perform other duties as required.
