_Job Summary:

The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in reinforcing the Hanania brand and culture by demonstrating a positive attitude, high energy, and in-depth knowledge of the products.

They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales team, motivating, and coaching them to achieve sales goals and promote the growth of the Hanania Automotive Group.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
_**- Supervise sales associates and assist with hiring and training staff.

  • Organize and oversee the schedules and performance of the sales team.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
  • Handle employee discipline and termination according to company policy.
**_

Duties & Responsibilities:
_**- Anticipate and establish monthly and annual sales and expense goals, preparing the departmental operating budget.

  • Recruit, train, and monitor automotive sales employees, including monitoring commission sheets and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws related to automotive sales.
  • Support sales representatives in setting realistic and aggressive monthly targets, assisting with deal closure and approval.
  • Monitor departmental customer satisfaction ratings and ensure followup with potential buyers.
  • Develop, execute, and supervise a sales control system.
  • Provide direction for staffing, performance evaluation, and training to ensure effective sales and service programs.
  • Review and analyze customer preference and operational records to focus automotive sales efforts.
  • Consult with department heads for advertising services, equipment acquisition, and customer information.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their equipment needs and advise on suitable automotive equipment.
  • Address retailrelated concerns and coordinate with salespeople to close vehicle purchase deals.
  • Manage purchasing, appraising, and inventory management.
  • Forecast annual dealership sales by estimating total vehicle sales, operating profits, and departmental expenses.
  • Conduct scheduled sales training and meetings to plan and implement automotive sales objectives.
  • Respond to customer complaints and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

_Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, computer software, and internet proficiency.
  • Enthusiasm for the Automotive Dealership industry with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and work ethic.

  • Solutionoriented mindset.
  • Strong background in internet and phone sales.
  • Must be able to pass preemployment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)

Education & Experience:
_**- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role at a dealership.
  • Experience maintaining high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index).

Physical Requirements:
_**- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat.
  • Prolonged periods of walking on a level surface throughout the dealership.
