About the Job and Company:

Join the team at Archdiocesan Youth Employment Services (AYES) in Los Angeles, CA, US. AYE, a program of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., is dedicated to providing job training, educational, and career services to over 2,500 youth and adults annually. Additionally, they offer job placement assistance to 1,500 individuals through a wide network of employers and community organizations. Partnered with the American Job Center of California (AJCC) and East Los Angeles College, AYES plays a significant role in empowering the community.

Salary Range:

$23.55 To 27.88 Hourly

The AYES Program Supervisor will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the delivery of educational, employment, and career development services for clients.

Responsibilities include:

Supervising and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to a targeted population.
Assisting in program planning.
Overseeing recruitment, selection, enrollment, and client assignment in specific geographic areas.
Developing employer training sites in collaboration with public, non-profit, and private organizations to provide structured work environments and potential employment opportunities.
Supervising, assigning, instructing, training, and evaluating staff.
Contributing to the development and participation in fundraising initiatives.
Acting as a program liaison with community agencies.
Preparing reports, proposals, requisitions, and correspondence.
Ensuring compliance with government standards at all levels.
Implementing Continuous Quality Improvement aligned with the Agency's mission.
Driving business development, organizing special events, and leading fundraising efforts.
Demonstrating cultural and socioeconomic sensitivity towards the client population.
Performing additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business or management.
Three to four years of relevant experience.
Management expertise with a background in community services and job training.
Familiarity with California Council for Excellence CAPE quality standards is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Passionate commitment to AYE's mission and services.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Access to transportation, a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current car insurance are required.
