- Resident Support: Provide guidance, support, and encouragement to residents as they navigate the challenges of recovery. Assist residents in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Facility Management: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the sober living house. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Administrative Duties: Manage resident intake processes, including conducting interviews, completing paperwork, and coordinating move-in logistics. Maintain accurate records of resident information, treatment plans, and progress.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or conflicts that arise within the facility. Implement appropriate protocols for managing crises and ensuring the safety of residents.
- Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with local community organizations, treatment providers, and support groups. Coordinate and facilitate events, workshops, and activities aimed at promoting recovery and wellness.
- Staff Supervision: Provide supervision and support to staff members, including residential aides and support staff. Delegate tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the facility.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working in a residential treatment facility or sober living environment strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of addiction recovery principles, relapse prevention strategies, and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish boundaries with residents.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 per year.
- Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm schedule, providing a healthy work-life balance.
