    Description
    About the Role
    In this role, you will support our distribution campus by leading all aspects of the overall Injury, Illness Prevention Plan (Occupational Safety/Health Program) for campus facility/facilities. You will Try Fast, Learn Fast and Think Big to ensure the campus is in compliance with all Gap Inc., local, state, provincial, federal and/or country requirements pertaining to workplace health and safety.What You'll Do
    • Plan, prepare, conduct and/or audit all compliance safety and health training required by OSHA/MOL and/or Gap Inc while ensuring all safety guidelines are adhered to by all Gap Inc employees, contractors, and visitors.
    • Serve as a technical resource for all campus leadership
    • Develop safety standard operating procedures (SOP's) and implement training programs to support SOP's in partnership with the appropriate business partners to reduce workplace injuries and incidents
    • Establish and maintain critical partnerships with internal and external business partners
    • Oversee campus Workers' Compensation Program in conjunction with Risk Management and third party administrator to ensure campus compliance with OSHA/MOL state recordkeeping requirements
    • Collaborate with Operations leadership teams to develop annual plans in support of continuous improvement
    • Ensure safety information is effectively communicated and understood through a variety of mediums to leadership and employees
    Who You Are
    • Strong knowledge of OSHA/MOL compliance and regulations, local, state, provincial and federal fire and safety regulations
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and set priorities with strong organizational and time management skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills while effectively communicating with internal/external business partners
    • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions
