- Work with an adoptive family in Coarsegold, CA, to provide services as a Family Specialist
- Work directly with youth and families in their home and community to develop positive relationships and implement the plan of care
- Model positive behavior and implement targeted behavioral interventions to promote stabilization in the home and community
- Provide skill-building interventions for the youth and family to improve their behavioral outcomes
- Participate in a family-centered, strength-based, culturally sensitive planning process for creating individualized plans of care
- Support youth to participate effectively in child and family team (CFT) meetings
- Implement strengths-based behavior plans with individualized strategies that include supportive linkage to the community and school
- Maintain case files for assigned youth and families
- Transport youth to appointments and community resources

We are looking for a part-time Family Specialist to assist families who have adopted children/youth out of the foster care system, and are experiencing challenges with the child's/youth's behavioral and mental health. The Family Specialist works directly with youth and families to model positive behavior and implement targeted behavioral interventions to enhance stability, safety, and well-being.
