- Monitors creative team hours against budgets and determines project risk on an ongoing basis, escalates issues as needed.
- Maintains constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing.
- Coordinate with project managers and department leads to prioritize resource allocation and address any resource conflicts or constraints and solve issues.
- Provide and maintain agency resource status, liaising with internal teams to provide accurate updates of resource needs by initiating appropriate project meetings.
- Communicate with appropriate personnel to ensure positive workflow. Escalating exceptions and issues to Director level as required.
- Manage creative teams administrative duties that include, paid time off, performance reviews and handling 1:1s to ensure team members have needed support.
- Engages in meetings with leadership and management teams, to discuss all active programs and potential new business as well as to stay informed of potential issues such as resource and change control matters.
- Assess project requirements and allocate creative resources, including designers, writers, and other creative professionals, based on skill sets, availability, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to align resource allocation with project priorities and strategic objectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between creative teams and other departments to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- 4+ years experience in resource management, project management, or operations management, specifically in a creative agency environment.
- Understand and knows the creative processes, workflows, and best practices in design, content creation, and production.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization of resource planning and allocation processes.
- Understand creative approaches, skillsets and timelines needed to successfully complete a project.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in resource management tools and software, such as project management software or resource scheduling tools.
