- Provide troubleshooting assistance and problem resolution for computer systems, including personal computers, mini/mainframe computers, client-servers, LANs, WANs, and web pages.
- Assist in the coordination and management of large organizations that require the effective use of technology, equipment, and people.
- Support the implementation of computer databases and software configuration management as part of logistics support activities.
- Participate in meetings and activities related to system support, contributing to the continuous improvement of support processes.
- Ensure compliance with system support policies and standards, maintaining the integrity of computer systems and networks.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to coordinate system support activities, optimizing technology use and support processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of system support plans and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support the organization in achieving its technology objectives, contributing to overall operational success.
- One (1) year of experience providing troubleshooting assistance and problem resolution for computer systems, or completion of 30 hours of postsecondary computer-related classes with a 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA (resume to specify completed relevant courses).
- Support experience includes assistance and resolution provided for personal computers, mini/mainframe computers, client-servers, LANs, WANs, and web pages.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Individual shall be working towards the relevant certifications: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform-specific certification: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicable s Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP).
