Senior Manager of Employee Relations
to support the HR initiatives for a new facility in
Savanah, GA .
Responsibilities include partnering with company leadership to develop and implement Employee Relations strategies that promote employee satisfaction and a high-performance culture.
This is an onsite position in Savannah, GA and non-local candidates will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance is offered.RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the main driving force in the development and implementation of HR strategy related to Employee Relations to align with company goals and business culture
Effectively oversee escalated employee relations cases by conducting thorough investigations and administering a sound resolution that minimizes company exposure administration of policy as it relates to union guidelines
Actively participate in continual education and stay updated state and located employment law to ensure compliance
Development and execute learning & development opportunities for HR team to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Utilize reporting tools to acquire and analyze metrics to support data driven decision-making
Advise and coach operations management and how to resolve employee relations issues and performance management
Collaborate with the Legal Dept. to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of15 years of experience in employee relations or a closely related HR function, specifically within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
In-depth expertise of state and federal laws pertaining to Employee RelationsExcellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of resolving complex ER cases successfully
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
Ability to embrace diversity and adapt to unique challenges of multicultural workplace
Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work with team-members at all levels of an organization
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
