    Sales Manager (Resale/Recycle)

    Job Description

    Makt-Trans LLC is a logistics/supply chain company dedicated to Truth, Trust, and Simplicity. Makt-Trans LLC is a division in a collective of companies providing distribution/warehousing, transportation, and software solutions.

    We are looking for an experienced technical Sales Manager to lead our resale and recycle operations activities. This individual will research organizations throughout the United States to expand our business with companies aligned strategically, culturally, and financially to our collective goals. This role is responsible for formulating sales strategies to prospective accounts using the various means necessary to connect new partnerships. The individual will not only identify opportunities but drive deals to close. Additional responsibilities include working with distribution center management to capture and maintain resalable inventory, balance inventory aging with opportunities to take advantage of market trends associated with recycling metals etc. The opportunity to grow professionally and financially is dependent on the high-delivery performance of the individual.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Must be able to independently identify new leads and customers
    • Responsible for developing and executing a marketing plan for all divisions
    • Develop leads through communications (phone, internet, apps, etc.) solicitation and customer visits
    • Assess customer's requirements and develop proposals and negotiate using knowledge of secondary market for cell site telecommunications equipment, as well as recycling of precious metals
    • Quality customer service by effectively handling concerns; understand needs and long-term opportunities
    • Retain customers in a price competitive marketplace; must understand market conditions and trends to be proactive in providing insights to potential customers
    • Drive profitable revenue growth by maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers/vendors
    • Evaluate hardware/materials to determine best path for revenue, resale or recycle
    • Keep up to date with telecom hardware to understand domestic and global needs of used equipment
    • Seek new partnership to engage in decommission RFPs with potential clients to gain new lines of returnable to support resale and recycle business

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in business development in logistics industry; healthy relationships with current or past clients is a must
    • Common sense approach and high level of emotional intelligence
    • Ability to work independently and with minimal direction; self-reliant and motivated
    • Supply Chain degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 3+ years of sales in telecom hardware on secondary market
    • 3+ years experience with metals market and recycling operations
    • Proficiency with current software applications
    • Ability to learn new systems and understand how they integrate will service offering
    • Professional experience with promoting and marketing services
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills over the phone, through written communication, and in person
    • Ability to set and manage multiple priorities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of tools and sites focused on reselling telecom hardware; BrokerBin, PowerSource, eBay, etc.
