    • Coordinate contract reviews and renewals with TLOS finance personnel and the university's procurement team.
In addition, the Director of Learning Technologies Support has the following responsibilities as a leader and manager:
    • Supervise TLOS's Learning Technologies Specialists, providing regular coaching and support to ensure that individual workloads are balanced and all contributors function effectively as a team.
    • Coordinate efforts with other leaders in TLOS by actively participating in committees and working groups and holding regular one-on-one conversations.
    • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with faculty leaders in programs and departments across campus.
    • Develop strategies for improving TLOS's user experience (UX) mindset, helping the entire organization understand and advocate for faculty and student needs.
    • Gather feedback from Virginia Tech faculty and students to better understand how our tools are being used.
    • Explore new commercial and open-source learning technologies, staying current with trends in the field and seeking out ways to implement or adapt emerging technologies for use at Virginia Tech.
    • Provide data-supported reports on the activity of the learning technologies team, in support of TLOS's ongoing assessment efforts.
