Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Basic working knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot computer and mobile operating systems (Windows 7/8/8.1/10, MacOS 10.X, iOS, Android), hardware, software, peripherals, and appropriate system management and security tools in a network environment. Efficient time management to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects and deadlines. Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, team members, and leadership.

  • Basic experience in information technology support.
    Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification)
  • Working knowledge of information technology support in a corporate, administrative, or educational setting. Familiarity with IT asset management suites such as Ivanti, LANDesk, Altiris, SCCM or Remedy. Usage of a ticketing system such as Remedy, ServiceNow, Footprints or ZenDesk

Custom configuration of a computer purchase to meet end-user requirements - Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Enterprise-level anti-virus / anti-malware suites.

CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+ certification.
Conditions of Employment

  • 29hour work week, Monday-Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm; 1500 hours per year.
    Annual Salary/Hourly Rate
  • Salary nonnegotiable $ per hour
