    POSITION SUMMARY

    Vericel Corporation, a leader in advanced cell therapy for the sports medicine and severe burn care markets, has an exciting new opportunity for students looking to grow and learn about the Biotech/Medtech industry. This is a great opportunity to intern with an exciting and fast growing life sciences company with a talented team of professionals who are committed to improving the lives of the patients that we serve. This internship opportunity is being offered by the Engineering Department.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Essential Functions:

    • Process Equipment and Facility System Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) Walkdowns
    • Drafting of Standard Operating Procedures
    • Drawing Review and Redlining
    • Technical Review and Root Cause Analysis for Commissioning Testing Discrepancies

    QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Current enrollment in a 4+ undergraduate and/or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly collaborative and team oriented
    • Ability for intern in work approximately 24 hours per week on-site and within defined business hours
    • Strong attention to detail
