- Develop and manage a follow-up process on all completed projects
- Actively participate in the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Observe and nurture parent group synergy with clients
- Develop, maintain and inspire a team spirit within the Business Development group
- Maintain personal integrity through professional confidentiality
- Increase professional knowledge and competency through educational opportunities, industry publications, official industry associations, etc.
- Adhere to GATE company policies and procedures in a positive manner
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of relevant service industry experience preferred
- 3+ years of product service line specific sales experience preferred
- Experience in the downstream market within the Gulf Coast region a plus
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Job SummaryThe Business Development Representative will focus on customer acquisition, account management and opportunity engagement. This position will be subject to Pipeline Process and Industrial Services Group. The main geographic areas of responsibility will be in the Baton Rouge and Lake Charles Downstream markets but may vary based on current needs.
