    Responsibilities:


    We are currently looking for a Physician Liaison to add to our Team This position creates and maintains a working relationship with current referral sources & Community Relations team in requesting various documents that may require physician signatures & maintaining communication to follow up on all outstanding requests.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Monitor and maintain monthly & quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

    Contact doctor offices to verify and confirm receipt of paperwork

    Contact doctor offices for status update of outstanding orders

    Verify client primary care physician and well check information as needed

    Update and maintain physician's current and accurate information in KanTime system on an ongoing basis

    Process all paperwork received on a daily basis in KanTime

    Maintain open communication with therapist & caregiver and other departments of client status and any delays

    Attend team routine meetings as needed.

    Gather all outstanding paperwork for Community Relations team (CR) to deliver and retrieve signatures on orders.

    Comply with all safety policies, practices & procedures & report unsafe activity to your supervisor

    Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental & company goals

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills


    Qualifications:
    Education and Work Experience Requirements

    Microsoft Office

    Customer Service 1 – 2 years

    Administrative Experience 1-2 years

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); combination of education and 1 year of experience

    Other Qualifications and Skills

    Ability to read & write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups – may be required in more than one language

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide with simple two-digit numbers

    Ability to carry out detailed but involved written instructions, able to problem solve with a few variables

    Intermediate computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite & database activity

    Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.

    Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period.

    Light physical activity performing non-strenuous activities of an administrative nature.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements.

    Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
