    **EDI Support Specialist**

    Dallas, TX, USA Req #79 Friday, January 28, 2022 Worldwide Express is looking for an experienced Technical Support Specialist, with a strong background in EDI. The EDI Support Specialist will work closely with the Technical Support team to ensure all business requirements are met on an accurate and timely basis. This position will be responsible for daily oversight and monitoring of EDI transactions, provide support to internal and external business functions, and help envision future strategies to align with business initiatives.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Review daily EDI intake for unprocessed files, errors and anomalies.

    Work with carriers on receiving and sending EDI files.

    Support customers with EDI integrations.

    Assist in organization code review process.

    Work with EDI developers to gather requirements when issues arise.

    Periodically perform quality analysis evaluations and audits on data and system functionality.

    Manage EDI projects.

    Integrate with new external partner systems, building and adapting standard EDI messages to specific customer requirements.

    Integrate with other technologies using iPaaS, Rest API, Web Services, EDI, XML, and SQL.

    Ensure detailed documentation is written and updated.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

    Experience with 3PL specific EDI documents: 204, 210, 214, 240/250, 990s.

    Familiar with EDI programs such as: CyberDuck, EDI Notepad, Sublime.

    Proficient in looking up EDI files on a FTP server.

    Working knowledge of FTP and SFTP tools and technology.

    Familiar with EDI transmission protocols.

    Basic EDI troubleshooting.

    Verbal and written communication skills.

    Conflict management and problem-solving.

    Assessment and decision-making skills.

    Relationship building both within the organization and with external sources.

    Presentation and facilitation skills.

    Analytical.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    3+ years of professional experience implementing EDI standards.

    Experience with 3PL specific EDI documents: 204, 210, 214, 240/250, 990s.

    2+ years knowledge and work experience in XML or EDI for integrating with trading partners.

    Ability to relate and communicate technical information to non-industry personnel.

    Excellent Troubleshooting skills.

    Excellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situations.

    Motivated to learn and grow in experience and knowledge.
