Overview Sr Brand Marketing SpecialistEssential Function : The Sr.

Brand Marketing Specialist, Sally Beauty will support the brand strategy team with detail-oriented execution and help elevate the team to drive New Customer Acquisition, Brand Awareness, and omnichannel traffic to Sally Beauty.

Having experience in public relations, communications, and / or content marketing, the Sr Specialist will support the Sr Manager, Brand Strategy with all traditional public relations and communications deliverables including, but not limited to press release management, internal communications, product fulfillment, agency support, invoice management, brief writing, and content creation as assigned.

Role reports to Sr Manager, Brand Strategy. This position is hybrid, reporting to the corporate office on Tuesdays and Weds of each week in Denton Texas.


Primary Duties :
Public Relations & Brand Marketing Work with manager to support PR initiatives such as media requests, interviews, speaking... opportunities, award submissions, and more.
Strong writing skills and attention to grammar required.

Precision and attention needed to oversee timelines and keep brand strategies on track in partnership with agencies and brand strategy team.

Support PR mailer process and execution. Support manager with creative brief execution in a timely manner.

Content & Communications Manage internal communications and recaps Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support all brand media & PR initiatives Ensure agencies receive accurate, approved information in a timely manner Create social content as needed with an eye for the latest trends and best practicesAdministrative Invoice management and tracking Monthly and weekly reporting Manage product closet and product fulfilment Support special projects and new initiatives as neededKnowledge, Skills & Abilities : Must have 3-5 years of marketing experience for a large-scale brand (beauty industry preferred, or retail / CPG) focusing on media and / or public relations.

Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or similar field Functional knowledge of media and public relations best practices, trends, and measurement.

Functional Marketing Metrics and Analytics Knowledge preferred Proactive communicator and problem solver with a positive attitude Social media savvy, always staying on top of new trends and features Preferred copywriting and SEO experience Preferred photoshop, video editing experience a plus Clear communication and timeliness liaising between agencies and Company Ability to suppport multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detailCompetencies / Attributes :
