Galvanization Employee (m/f/d) in Idar-Oberstein, Riverside, MO:

In this position, you will be responsible for the zinc/nickel coating process of individual diamond tools.

Your tasks:

  • Preparation of parts and tools by masking and painting
  • After successful training, you will prepare the baths independently
  • Monitoring of the coating process according to the coating time
  • Inspection of finished parts and tools for defects and errors
  • Documentation of results on the computer

What you should bring:

  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Good technical understanding and manual dexterity
  • You are quick and think ahead
  • You can understand and implement new work processes and procedures independently over time
  • Diligent and conscientious work ethic
  • Previous experience or training as a galvanizer is an advantage

What does "galvanization" mean? It is a coating process used for corrosion protection. The surface of iron or steel parts is coated with various layers of corrosion-resistant precious metals such as copper, nickel, or zinc. The finished parts and tools are then used in industries such as automotive.
