    Description

    LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Corporate Accountant for a prominent real estate development and property management company located in Houston, TX.

    In addition to holding an accounting degree, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and a strong desire to learn. They should possess transactional accounting experience in areas such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, or staff-level experience with general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliation.     Responsibilities:

    • Compiling and analyzing financial data for journal entries and documenting business transactions.
    • Performing bank reconciliations and entering A/R invoices and receipts.
    • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements for various corporate entities.
    • Assisting with the preparation of monthly individual and consolidated financial statements.
    • Communicating financial information to department heads, management, and owners.
    • Assisting with investor contributions and distributions recording.
    • Protecting organization's value by maintaining confidentiality and identifying any fraudulent activities.
    • Completing assigned responsibilities accurately and on time.

    Client Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in accounting with 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft software products, especially Excel.
    • Knowledge of real estate is desired but not required.
