Job SummaryRELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLEChartwells Higher Education is seeking a Food Service Manager at Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID.
This position offers a great work-life balance, typically working M-F In this role you will direct the day-to-day operations and financial success of a high-volume residential dining hall on campus.
You will support the overall success of the food service operation.This includes adhering to the client's culture and guidelines, the Health Department's regulations, and company's standards/policies, and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs the day-to day food service operation Supervises day-to-day work activities of managers, supervisors and food service workersConducts HR functions including, hiring, training, progressive counseling, terminationsMaintains client and customer satisfaction for food quality and customer serviceMaintains food and labor costsEnsures all QA and sanitation standards are maintained Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the studentsImplements new programs in conjunction with the Chartwells marketing and culinary teamsPerforms other duties as assigned

A.S.
