About the Position
You will be a part of a research project that is examining the ways in which Indigenous language/culture teachers collaborate with primarily non-Indigenous classroom teachers to develop a tribally specific, land-based curriculum for children birth-to-age-five (b-5).
JOB DUTIES
The period of employment is December 2020 to no later than November 30, 2022 when the grant funding this position ends.
Consistent with Washington State and Federal law, for this position WWU is implementing a hiring preference for Native Americans living on or near a reservation within commuting distance of WWU's Bellingham campus or have the ability reliably connect remotely with WWU.
* - At least 90 completed toward bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Indigenous Studies.
