Technical Service & Development Specialist CASE - New Hempstead, NY

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage technical accounts and prioritize customer needs
  • Collaborate with sales team to build strong customer relationships and establish Trinseo as a technical leader
  • Analyze customer needs and proactively solve problems
  • Develop account strategy to drive growth and operational excellence
  • Assist customers with product development and process improvements
  • Identify new market opportunities and provide technical expertise to support existing business
  • Work closely with technicians to optimize resources and timing
  • Demonstrate technical leadership through industry associations and daily interactions with customers, suppliers, and decision makers

OUR REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in specialty chemicals, raw materials, additives, polymers (particularly emulsions), or formulated products (such as Pressure Sensitive Adhesives, Sealants, Coatings, or other adhesives)
  • Knowledge and experience in adhesives, coatings, and/or sealants
  • Background in R&D, Product Development, or Application Chemistry
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German or French is a plus
