    Description

    Our client is a leading Contract Research Organisation (CRO) based out of New York looking for an experienced Oncology Medical Director to join their diverse and growing team to lead new initiatives and provide strategic leadership. This role will work closely with the commercial director to expand the innovation agenda while also collaborating with relevant stakeholders and partners.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, govern, and manage Research and Innovation functions across the organisation.
    • Ensure clinical trials and studies comply with regulatory and legal frameworks, reporting through relevant agencies, sponsors, and host organisations.
    • Promote the Trust's Research and Innovation interests through local and national research networks.
    • Create a Research and Innovation strategy in collaboration with the MD, CEO, and Executive Commercial Director.
    • Complete and report studies conducted within the organisation.
    • Foster a culture of research development and innovative practice across professional groups.
    • Manage senior staff within Research and Innovation.
    • Ensure budgetary management and reporting for all department activities and staff.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Relevant Field (Needed)
    • Masters Degree (Preferred)
    • Must have 5+ years experience in CRO's
    • Must have 7+ years experience in Clinical Research

    $210,000 - $310,000 PA
