    Description

    Description: This role is looking for a candidate skilled in managing complex subcontractor relationships and projects, with a strong background in strategic planning, negotiation, and leading cross-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate would have ample experience in engineering, procurement, and project management within sectors that entail intricate product or system development and delivery.



    Basic Qualifications:
    • Experience in subcontract management
    • Strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
    • Strong negotiation abilities.
    • Past experience and/or familiarity with SAP
    • Understanding of acquisition policies and procedures related to FAR/DFAR requirements.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated communication, negotiation, presentation, and documentation proficiency.
    • Experience in managing supplier relationships and cross-functional teams.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
    • Outstanding communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and risk management expertise.
    • Capability to collaborate with all levels of management
    Desired Skills:
    • Control Account Management or similar financial management experience
    • Experience in overseeing critical major suppliers
    • Experience in leading a diverse virtual team
    • Willingness and ability to travel within the country
    • Current or eligibility to acquire a Secret Clearance
    Security Clearance Statement: This role mandates a government security clearance, requiring candidates to be a US Citizen to be considered.

    Clearance Level: Secret

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time

    Remote Telework: The selected employee will work partly remotely and partly at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the recruitment process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin offers various alternative work schedules, including condensed options, beyond the standard 40-hour workweek. These schedules allow for additional time off and complement the Paid Time Off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10-hour day, with 3 days off per week
