About the Company:

Welcome to Pecan Deluxe Candy Company (PDCC), a leading manufacturer in the confectionery industry known for its high-quality products. As the Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations at our facilities.

Job Title: Production Manager

As the Production Manager reporting to the Vice President of Operations, your main goal is to ensure the smooth running of our manufacturing processes while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Objectives:

Provide direction and supervision for manufacturing activities
Develop and execute production schedules
Implement strategies to achieve production goals
Enhance operational processes and enforce best practices
Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safety-first culture

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe work environment
Meet production and quality targets
Act as a link between management and operations
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
Train and mentor supervisors and staff
Resolve production issues and customer complaints
Support new product development and commercialization

Required Qualifications:

Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in computer applications and statistical analysis
Experience in plant/general management within manufacturing
Knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvement
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus
