    Safety and Environmental Manager in St. Louis, Missouri, and the surrounding areas (on-site role)

    Qualifications:
    A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
    Extensive experience in safety management or environmental oversight.
    In-depth understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet research.
    Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
    Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Self-motivated with a focus on achieving results.
    Exceptional organizational and presentation skills.
    Willingness to travel as needed.

    Desirable Skills:
    Relevant professional certifications.
    Training in hazardous material response and rescue procedures.
    Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
    Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
    Knowledge of database management and analysis.
    Understanding of workers' compensation processes.
    First Aid / CPR Certification.
    Adaptability to changing priorities.

    Responsibilities:
    Develop, implement, and oversee safety and environmental programs.
    Provide leadership and guidance on safety practices.
    Conduct audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
    Investigate incidents and develop preventive measures.
    Coordinate employee training initiatives.
    Collaborate with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders.
    Manage workers' compensation claims and regulatory reporting.
    Lead emergency response planning and training efforts.
