    A global leader in the Machinery Manufacturing industry is requiring a Supplier Quality Engineer

    Location:
    Greater Los Angeles, CA AreaTitle: Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

    Pay:
    $65,000 - $80,000 + bonus potential


    A leader in the Machinery Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their rapidly growing team in the Greater Los Angeles area.

    The SQE will play a pivotal role on the quality team, joining a team of seasoned quality professionals.

    With a clear career path forward this role is a great way to get involved with a leader in the industry.

    Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality EngineerEvaluate and qualify new supplier materials for use in the facilityDevelop and maintain positive, long lasting relationships with vendorsProactively address problems in the areas of manufacturing to ensure issues do not persistConduct internal audits and proactively make changes to fix any problems that ariseImplement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives throughout the facility in the areas of manufacturingPerform root cause analysis and correction action to ensure issues do not persistDevelop and recommend solutions in the areas of manufacturing and qualityMaintain the highest standards of quality for supplier materials

    Qualifications for the ideal Supplier Quality Engineer1+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing facilityKnowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma and Kaizen principlesBachelor's degree highly preferredKnowledge of quality systems including SAP and CAD programsExperience maintaining relationshipsKnowledge of ISO 9001 principlesfamiliarity with APQPCompany perksCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefitsAbility to grow internally with a clear career pathThe chance to join a world leader in the Machinery Industry
