    Job Title: Medical Assistant

    Location: Pediatric Clinic, Los Angeles, CA

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional half shift on Saturdays

    Hours: 40 hours per week, regular clinic hours

    Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

    Pay Rate: $18-20/hr

    Overview:

    Join our team at the Pediatric Clinic and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant to provide exceptional care in both back office and front office settings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care to pediatric patients.
    • Perform both back office and front office duties as needed.
    • Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
    • Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs.
    • Assist with patient intake, history recording, and medication reconciliation.
    • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
    • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures and treatments.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
    • Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and protocols.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Compassionate demeanor and genuine interest in pediatric care.
    • New graduates are welcome to apply.
    • Long-term commitment to the role is preferred.
