What the apprenticeship includes
Industrial mechanics maintain technical systems, convert machines or systems, and perform maintenance and inspections. This ensures the operational readiness of technical systems. They always carry out their work within the framework of the company's quality management systems and document them.

How the apprenticeship works
The regular duration of the apprenticeship is 3 1⁄2 years. Once or twice a week, you will attend vocational school - the Technical College (BKT) in Lüdenscheid.

There, you will be taught in job-related and job-independent learning areas such as production, assembly, maintenance, automation, operational and business processes, as well as German and English.

On the other days, you will gain practical experience - in the first year of apprenticeship in the training workshop and then in various departments and courses.
