- Utilize provided templates to draft real estate agreements.
- Receive, review, and manage incoming requests for land control agreements, including leases, easements, and purchase agreements.
- Coordinate property searches with county officials, third-party abstractors, lawyers, recorders, and researchers.
- Review vesting instruments and other recorded documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and proofread various documents such as leases, easements, purchase options, and other related documents.
- Work closely with project managers, land agents, real estate team members, landowners, legal representatives, third-party abstractors, and external vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive files for landowners and update tracking spreadsheets.
- Handle new and revised document requests, maintaining up-to-date status reports on project progress.
- Perform additional duties as needed, including project closings, data and contract management, large mailings, and real estate training sessions.
- 3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal or legal assistant
- Experience with land deeds, title abstracting and/or real estate agreements
- Knowledgeable regarding contract, file and change management
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Microsoft Teams software. Experience with Landworks ideal.
- Existing experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
