- Actively participates in department performance improvement process
- Assures and maintains patient safety during the assessment process through the use of proper CPI techniques.
- Works to ensure that patient treatment is reimbursed by contacting managed care organizations and completing initial utilization review. Documents in Midas as required. Involves mobile crisis when necessary

Job Summary and QualificationsThe Mental Health Professional II is to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care by providing supervised mental health services to patients and their loved ones.
Their responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering psycho-education, leading process groups, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic counseling sessions using evidence-based interventions in one-on-one, family, and group therapy.
What you will do in this Role:
Performs Behavioral Health Assessments either face to face or via telemedicine and ongoing re-assessments based on departmental specific policies and procedures.
Determines Level of Care based on face to face or telemedicine assessment completed and physician consult.What qualifications you will need:
