    KIPP St. Louis currently educates over 2,000 students and at full growth, we will educate nearly 3,600 students and hundreds of alumni. Today, our St. Louis network consists of two middle schools, three elementary schools, and a high school.

    Job Description

    Working at Triumph Academy, you're an enthusiastic educator engaging in students' pursuits outside of the traditional classroom setting. Whether you love physical education, dance, music, or the arts, you care about sharing your passion with your students. Engage students across St. Louis as an Electives teacher at KIPP St. Louis Public Schools.

    Position Type: Full-time, exempt, 10 months

    Qualifications

    On a day-to-day basis, you can look forward to the following:

    Curriculum Development and Instruction

    • Adapt and execute a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
    • Develop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments
    • Use data to inform instructional decisions
    • Provide students with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needs

    Help Build a Positive School and Classroom culture

    • Embody and maintain school's values, policies, and culture
    • Develop positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff
    • Establish and maintain strong communication with all parents and share progress
    • Effectively supervise and manage a classroom of up to 30 students
    • Show up for critical school events, including staff meetings, open houses, parent-teacher conferences, and more

    Demonstrate a Growth Mindset

    • Pursue challenging professional goals each year
    • Give and receive positive and constructive feedback from your colleagues
    • Participate in school-wide and individual professional development
