    Job Summary:

    The M&A Investment Banking Analyst is a hybrid role that combines in-depth analytical responsibilities with client-facing interactions. This position requires a blend of strong technical finance skills and exceptional interpersonal abilities to support and lead M&A transactions. The analyst will work closely with senior bankers and play a critical role in the deal process from initiation to closure.

    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis and valuation of companies including discounted cash flow, precedent transaction, and comparable company analysis.
    • Prepare detailed financial models and forecasts to evaluate potential M&A opportunities.
    • Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other client presentations.
    • Participate in all stages of transaction executions, from the pitch phase through to closing.
    • Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, working closely with clients, external advisors, and counterparties.
    • Support senior bankers in the negotiation of transaction terms and deal structuring.
    • Monitor industry trends and market developments relevant to clients.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Engage directly with clients to discuss analytical findings, strategic advice, and transaction updates.
    • Contribute to the development of the firm's M&A strategy and market presence.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (such as CFA) preferred.
    • 0-3 years of experience in investment banking, specifically in M&A or a related field.
    • Strong foundation in financial theory and valuation techniques.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage relationships with clients.
    • Proactive, motivated, and able to handle high-pressure situations.
    • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of regulatory and legal aspects of M&A transactions.
