    Description

    Registered Nurse - Urology

    Our hospital is seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Urology department. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in Clinical Advancement Programs (CAP) and increase your compensation as you gain certifications and education. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assign nursing personnel and staff to specific patients using independent judgment
    • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families
    • Visit patients and monitor their conditions as well as evaluate patient care
    • Identify patient care requirements and communicate to healthcare team
    • Supervise employees, including scheduling work assignments and ensuring training and proper documentation
    • Delegate and monitor completion of duties according to hospital policies
    • Administer medication, including IV medication, and document and communicate clinical findings
    • Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures, and protocols

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
    • Nationally accredited nursing graduate is essential
    • Current RN license in New Mexico
    • CPR certification for healthcare providers
    • 2 years of directly related experience
    • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
