Duties and Responsibilities Assist with product transition plan from engineering to production;Communicate with departments in Operations and all levels of the organization to share ideas and gain feedback related to work processes;Evaluate and support all aspects of material planning, including kitting and process routings, to ensure accurate work flow;Provide technical and planning support to Operations;Ensure facility efficiency and workplace safety;Participate in new product design reviews, providing early identification of planning or manufacturability issues;Evaluate processes related to time, cost reduction and inventory control;Analyze and evaluate methods of production and point out ways to improve them;Lead or assist continuous improvement efforts, such as root cause failure analysis;Test, analyze, and evaluate components and materials for new products;Define and establish manufacturing test specifications.
