Summary:

Technical support for engineering related issues in supporting Operations Group (maintenance, production, tooling, set-up).

(Shift: Day, as needed)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following:

Work in conjunction/consultation with corporate engineering group to support local facilities
Lead Engineering support for Operations Group (maintenance, production, tooling, set-up)
Support maintenance group in technical issues (breakdowns, preventative maintenance)
Assist with design and procurement of tooling and fixtures for production as needed
Support on-boarding of new products and programs to achieve quality requirements
Support local equipment installations, capital improvements, and implement corporate Engineering initiatives
Work with the Operations Group for line optimization and Continuous Improvement projects
Help maintain item master, BOM and router creation in the ERP system.
Execute Engineering Change Notices when necessary
Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment (3-5yrs). Preferred experience in Tool and Die, roll forming, stamping.

Skills:

AutoCAD and Inventor

Microsoft Office, MS Project

Continuous improvement, Six Sigma

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, sit for long periods. Use small tools and lift 50 pounds.

Work Environment: Manufacturing and mill environment, office (some travel required)
