Description
The Recruiter will be responsible for the hiring and interviewing for field operations personnel and corporate staff, administering benefit enrollment, on-boarding, enforcing company policies and practices under the scope of recruitment of new employees.
Attending local Job Fairs and Hiring events in the San Diego County areas. Minimum 3 years recruitment experience required.Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Maintains communications regarding operational activities and personnel in the areas of employee recruitment, selection for promotion and transfers with the HR Manager.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verification.Implements new hire all hiring stages, new hire orientation such as new hire on-boarding with complete understanding of HRIS system of new hire data importation into UKG Ready, PTS, and TIPS.Performs routine tasks required to lead HR administrator such as enrollment of medical benefits and tracking, talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Proactively anticipates monitors, identifies and resolves staffing issues.
Responsible for implementing and distributing payment of referral and sign-on incentive program.
Responsible of all new hire, employee and staff with Department of Defense Biometric System (DBIDS) government screening process to include SECNAV Forms and spreadsheets.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Contacts/ visits community job placement services, private personnel agencies, colleges and job fairs; provides information about the company, its policies, benefits, and available opportunities.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in recruiting, talent management, and employment law.Maintains job descriptions of all positions with the company.
Maintains and handles internal and external job requisitions for field and staff employees.
Responsible for performance annual evaluations for employees to maintain compliance of Source America audits under the Abilityone program.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional license, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to workers compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Assists and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, workers compensation program, payroll inquiries, terminations, and investigations as need.Performs other duties as assigned.
