- Meet with potential ketamine treatment clients and clear them for ketamine treatments. (18 and older men and women)
- Ketamine treatment for (IKAP) responsible to prescribe ketamine dosage for treatment (Training provided).
- Prescribe other medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized. Meet DOPL and DEA requirements.
- Recommend interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks.
- Understand Electronic Health Record, utilize to its fullest capabilities, and have record complete within policy regulations.

Job DescriptionImmediate OpenningRiverwoods Behavioral Health has been providing Integrate Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (IKAP) for over 8 years. We are currently conducting extensive research using our IKAP protocol with various research groups in ketamine treatments for mental health conditions with great success. Over 90% of our clients who received an IKAP treatment see a significant reduction in their mental health condition.Due to the demand for our services in our Provo clinic we need an additional NP. The part-time nurse-practitioner will take the medical lead in clearing clients for treatment and managing the treatment.
The schedule would typically be from 12:00 noon to 7:30 on Monday's and Wednesday's depending on the work load. Alternate schedules may be available. In addition the NP could add additional time and hours providing other medical support services such as medication management. This is a great position for a starting or seasoned NP. Training will be provided on our protocol.
