Responsibilities:
● Coordinate, work up, diagnose, treat, and provide interventional and medical management with follow up to pain patients.
● Perform cervical/thoracic/lumbar injections and radiofrequency ablations
● Perform spinal cord stimulator trials and implants. Skills in Kyphoplasty, spinal cord trials and implants are a plus but we are
also willing to train
● Examine patients, take medical histories, address patients' concerns, and answer patients' questions.
● Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
● Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, and explain the results to patients.
● Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and other lifestyle changes.
● Update patients' charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments.
● Recommend and design treatment plans.
● Prescribe medications or therapies.
● Explain medical procedures to patients.
● Consult with other physicians, refer patients to specialists when necessary, and work with other healthcare staff, such as nurses,
assistants, and other physicians.
● Comply with medical laws (for example, HIPAA).
Qualifications
● Must have obtained a degree and completed an accredited residency program.
● Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for delivery of medical care.
● Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
● Knowledge of comprehensive medical evaluation, including diagnosis and treatment plans for patients with acute, chronic,
cancer, or other types of pain, and patient care services in areas of medical expertise.
● Effective verbal and written communication skills.
● Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
● Must be credentialed per facility policies and procedures.
● The ability and willingness to stay up to date on advancements, innovations, and developments in the field.
