    Description

    Overview:

    Bowhead seeks a Senior Operations Support Specialist to support the Project Director Sensors-Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

    Incumbent employees are encouraged to respond.

    Responsibilities:

    Provides subject matter expertise in Operations Support to an entire organization or major components of an organization
    Works various special programs and projects
    Attends meetings at Command level and higher headquarters when required
    Prepares decision papers, documents, and reports
    Possesses expert knowledge of organizational planning, risk management, and program analysis
    Performs segments of broad and complex studies and analyses across organizational and functional lines on a variety of projects, issues and problem cases
    Provides results to senior technical personnel on a variety of tasks, relevant to PM plans and objectives
    Leads efforts to defines and document processes into standard operating procedures or other written procedures for complex and large scope projects
    Assures integrated and coordinated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks
    Initiates, develops, revises, recommends, and implements policies, plans, procedures, and directives
    Identifies existing or potential problem areas within the area of operations and recommends corrective action
    Advises leadership pertaining to assigned program, briefing preparation, and objectives
    Collaborates internally and externally and provides advice and support to the organization leadership, staff, and program managers on any assigned programs/projects for stakeholder engagements, briefings, reports, etc.
    Accomplishes detailed planning for complex management projects, issues, and initiatives
    Provides support for risk analysis and tracking of cost, schedule, performance of projects/programs

    Qualifications:

    Bachelors Degree Business or related field
    A minimum of five (5) years related experience

    SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently have a Top Secret clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.

    Physical Demands:
    Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
    Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
    Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
