    Job Description

    To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform essential supervisory duties. Must be able to manage the day to day activities of all Assembly Shop processes at Compositech-filters facility.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The following duties and responsibilities are essential while on the job site. Other duties may be assigned and/or applied

    • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Assembly shop including production and quality standards
    • Plan and direct manufacturing and service activities and priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors
    • Coordinate with other Lead Technicians to manage production priorities in accordance with work schedules and to ensure of parts availability
    • Coordinate manufacturing activities and service labor with Production Manager to obtain optimal use of employees and equipment resources
    • Monitor the availability of correct tools and materials in the Assembly shop areas
    • Coordinate with Quality Control Manager for inspection and approval of assembled equipment
    • Through collaboration and effective communication with all appropriate parties, develop and implement methods and procedures to eliminate operation problems and improve product quality
    • Communicate and coordinate with Quality Control Manager and the Engineering Department to modify equipment drawings in order to improve production and quality of products
    • Ensure safe work practices with all installation methods
    • Review reports on progress, materials used and costs and adjust work schedules as indicated
    • Effectively communicate any changes in schedules, manufacturing processes or procedures to all appropriate employees
    • Ability to create employee training and development plans and willingness to act as a mentor
    • Some understanding of Human Resources rules and regulations
    • Maintain and organize materials in the Assembly Shop
