Role OverviewThe Sales Manager Americas serves as a vital member of the Americas sales team, providing assistance in managing the sales team and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
This position plays a pivotal role in driving sales performance, partner management, fostering team collaboration, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
The Sales Manager Americas works closely with the SVP Sales Americas to develop and implement effective sales strategies while also taking on direct leadership responsibilities in their absence.
At the core of Dubber's growth strategy is our focus on enabling our existing partners (such as Service Providers) and their sales communities to constantly sell Dubber services while bringing on new Service Provider relationships.
In addition to the management aspects of the role, the Sales Manager Americas will directly drive the growth in a group of priority partners and set the example for the team in aligning their partners with Dubbers strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy:
Ongoing assessment of existing and new partner engagement levels and drive team activity that aligns the partner relationships to the strategic goals of Dubber
High performance team culture:
Build, lead & inspire a world class sales teamDrive yield from current partners: Fine tune the engagement model of the current Partner Mangers to accelerate growth from existing Partner relationshipsGrow the Dubber footprint: Win and onboard new Partners as they have a demand for Dubber services
Achieve targets:
Drive sales strategies and tactical growth initiatives to consistently achieve revenue, subscriber growth, ARPU, retention and profitability targetsInstigate core disciplines: Establish the appropriate reporting framework, operating cadence & sales team disciplines capable of creating a high performing culture coupled with predictable financial performanceFunctional alignment: Develop strong relationship and clear lines of responsibility with EVP Global Alliances, Chief Commercial Officer and Global Head of Product Develop strong relationships: In conjunction with the EVP Global Channels, cultivate relationships with key leaders across all partners, including SP's, Communication Solutions providers and major Tier 1 ResellersAnalyze sales data, KPIs, and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting sales performance, trends, and areas for improvement.Pipeline & forecast management:
Develop & provide detailed pipeline data, sales forecasts, as well reports on the projected growth of the Dubber user base across the Americas businessThe face of the business: As and when required, represent the Dubber brand at key industry & customer events, conferences and Dubber roadshowsCapture industry feedback: Constantly provide feedback to the Dubber product, marketing & technology teams regarding the changing needs of the Americas marketExperience & Education:Business, Marketing or related degree qualificationsPrevious experience in sales management or a similar leadership role.
Thorough appreciation & demonstrated track record in operating through a combination of the Science of Sales Leadership and highly constructive, Humanistic LeadershipDeep experience in the SaaS industryDeep understanding of channel-centric GTM models Reasonably understanding of the Telecommunication Deep understanding of solution selling methodologies coupled with hands-on understanding of (or other CRM platforms)Ideally, exposure to a start-up/scale-up, rapid growth style environmentsAlthough not a technical role, ability to understand technical requirements is very beneficialTrack record of working across multiple functions, both collaboratively and independentlyAbility to travel up to 50% as needed.
