Senior Manager, Enterprise Services Business Risk (ES Risk)

Risk Managers at Capital One are highly motivated professionals with excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills. A successful candidate for this role will be able to operate from a foundation of knowledge about third-party management and make sound decisions within the risk management framework.

As a Senior Risk Manager, you play a key role in enhancing third-party risk management processes across Capital One and driving project and program delivery.

Develop and implement processes to provide independent analysis and effective plans to mitigate risk related to third-party management practices.
Ensure effective governance by identifying, framing, and presenting risk topics for discussion by senior management in enterprise risk forums.
Advise on the development and management of new third-party management policies, standards, and procedures.
Stay updated on emerging risks and potential implications to the company within accountable domains.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders to achieve strategic objectives.
Lead a team providing risk consulting and guidance to implement risk management practices.
Analyze data to proactively identify risks and trends, influencing others accordingly.
Balance multiple priorities to drive business value and support team objectives related to risk management initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

At least 8 years of experience in Process, Project, Risk Management, or Audit.
At least 2 years of experience developing presentations for senior-level audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Risk Management.
Demonstrates ability to drive results and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
At least 5 years of experience in Third-Party Risk Management.
At least 5 years of experience in Banking or financial services.
At least 5 years of experience in risk, compliance, or audit.
At least 3 years of experience working with internal business clients.
At least 3 years of leading highly cross-functional programs.
Relevant professional certification.
