    Description


    HEADLINE: Long Island, New York (Nassau County, about 30 to 45 minutes to NYC/Manhattan): A BE or BC Critical Care physician is needed to work in a mixed ICU hospital setting. The new CC physician will work at only one hospital. Work Shift Schedule: Choice of 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off. The hours range from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no night shifts. Financial compensation: $ The group is offering a very competitive financial compensation package for the area.

    LOCATION: LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK

  • This hospital is located in Nassau County, Long Island.
  • The new Critical Care physician will be able to live wherever she or he chooses to.
  • This is a very desirable location. The quality of life is excellent
  • It is about 45 minutes to one hour to the water and is excellent for sailing and boating activities.
  • Nassau County also has an excellent school system of all levels. It is also home to numerous colleges and universities.
  • Their hospital is located about 30 to 45 minutes commute to Manhattan/New York City. If you decide to live in Nassau County, you will also be able to take full advantage of, have easy accessibility to, and be able to enjoy the countless and varied cultural, recreational, and educational opportunities that only a city, as great and exciting as New York City, has to offer

    PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Located in Nassau County, Long Island, a Board Eligible or Board Certified Critical Care physician is needed to provide Critical Care services in a mixed ICU hospital setting.
  • She or he will work at only one hospital.
  • The new Critical Care physician will be responsible for daily rounds, management and consultations.
  • Work Shift Schedule: The new candidate will have a choice:
  • A) 7 days on / 7 days off
  • B) 14 days on / 14 days off.
  • The hours range from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • There are no night shifts.
  • Critical Care trained Physician Assistants provide coverage 24/7.
  • Availability: Critical Care physicians who are already in practice and have work experience as well as Critical Care fellows who are available during 2024 are all welcome to apply and will all be strongly considered.

    FINANCIAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
