    Summary:

    The Account Executive holds a senior-level position accountable for driving value delivery, fostering relationships, and facilitating overall account growth for BHI's products and services with participating BCBS Plans and key external partners. This role demands a robust consultative approach, prioritizing relationship building and growth. The ideal candidate possesses experience in cultivating relationships with healthcare payers and is knowledgeable in analytic and data science solutions, as well as health plan operations such as care management, medical economics, provider relations/network management, and enterprise reporting.

    The Account Executive will leverage their healthcare industry expertise to define and measure value delivery, ensure client success in utilizing BHI's products and services, and support overall account growth objectives, including revenue targets. In this capacity, the Account Executive will analyze the Plan's key business drivers, development areas, and competitive threats, demonstrating how BHI's solutions address these needs and providing real-world examples of successful implementations.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Relationship Management

  • Cultivate strong, long-term collaborative relationships with health plan partners, understanding the unique needs and definition of success for each client.
  • Act as the primary contact for all account-related matters within a designated book-of-business, addressing client escalations promptly and effectively.
  • Foster relationships with internal BHI cross functional teams and represent the voice of the client to ensure BHI value is being delivered for clients.
  • Employ innovative problem-solving skills to address challenges and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular internal client updates, identifying risks and implementing issue resolution strategies.
  • Account Growth and Collaboration

  • Demonstrate thought leadership and comprehensive understanding of the plans landscape, including cost containment strategies, engagement, and market dynamics.
  • Develop annual account plan to identify opportunities for upselling, to track key account metrics and to ensure high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
  • Manage existing clients through renewal and expansion opportunities, collaborating with Business Development on scoping and estimating efforts for new product opportunities.
  • Partner with Business Development on scoping requirement and level of effort estimates for new product opportunities.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of RFPs and RFIs.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of BHI products and roadmap.
  • Communication and Coordination

  • Lead regular client meetings and check-ins to review reports, metrics, potential changes, and new opportunities, ensuring alignment with business goals and satisfaction.
  • Interface with client at all levels, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, and professionalism.
  • Understand and deliver on all reporting and contractual obligations promptly and accurately.
  • Facilitate effective meetings for large and senior teams, including being the point person for development of agenda, internal preparation, logistics, presentation materials, product demonstrations and post meeting debriefs.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience in healthcare client management, or relevant role in industry. Preferably in data analytics and/or software solutions working with healthcare payors
  • Experience using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and customer specific recommendations
  • Perform basic to moderate quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while efficiently managing priorities
  • Demonstrate familiarity within key areas for Health Plans including but not limited to: CMS, Fully and Self-Insured, Medicare Advantage, ACA, Value Based Care, Social Determinants of Health, Network Design and Optimization, and Healthcare Price Transparency
  • Understands importance of adhering to SOC 2 requirements and maintains an effort
