    Job Description

    As an Event Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and controlled environment during various events, such as concerts, conferences, sporting events, and exhibitions. Your role will involve monitoring crowds, identifying potential threats, and responding to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner. Strong communication and observation skills are essential to succeed in this role.
    • Previous experience in security, preferably in an event or public setting.
    • Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
    • Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods.
    • Knowledge of crowd management techniques and experience handling large crowds.
    • Familiarity with security equipment, such as metal detectors, CCTV systems, and access control systems.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with event staff and local law enforcement.
    • Basic understanding of emergency response procedures and first aid/CPR certification is desirable.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as events may take place at various times.
    • High level of integrity, honesty, and reliability.
