    Responsibilities:
    Assistant Property Manager will assist with resident records in property management software and resident files

    Working with office staff to ensure all monies are collected as due and that all revenue data is posted correctly in the on-site property management software system

    Preparing all resident notices, including monthly newsletters, resident activity notices, late payment notices, and eviction notices

    Preparing balance statements and notices for non-payment of rent and other violations

    Coordinating with Property Manager the status of client accounts

    Completing Final Account Statements and performing follow-ups with former residents to effectively manage bad debt and follow through on Security Deposit Returns

    Responsible for Accounting Month End procedures

    Greeting prospective residents, determining needs and preferences, and professionally present community and specific apartments while providing features and benefits

    Reviewing lease paperwork with both Leasing Consultants and residents while explaining property rules and regulations, and ensure all lease paperwork is completed correctly and has been approved by the Property Manager

    Assisting Property Manager with renewal processes

    Maintaining awareness of local market conditions and trends

    Understanding and complying with state landlord-tenant Fair Housing laws and standards

    Partnering with maintenance staff to make sure apartments are completed for scheduled move-ins

    Responsible for overall upkeep including apartment units and common areas

    Assisting with the daily operation of the property in the absence of the Property Manager

    Assisting Property Manager with scheduling, organizing, and hosting resident events


    Requirements:
    1-2 years experience as an Assistant Property Manager in multifamily property management

    Demonstrate proficiency in working with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Excel, software/database, and several social media outlets

    RealPage experience preferred

    Superior customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

    High school diploma or equivalent
